Elmo's World
Elmo has officially invaded our house and my mind.

Elmo's World!
Elmo loves his goldfish,
His crayon too.
Thaaaat's Elmo's Woooorrrld!
ha ha!
Yes, it's true. I've been singing this song in my head ALL DAY LONG. I walk through the halls at work singing it, I move my head side to side while I recall the lyrics in meetings, I see the fuzzy red monster in the back of my head while I hear the tune play out. No amount of break beat techno, Ska, or Middle Eastern music will drown it out.
ELMO WILL BE HEARD!
Is it really possible for an adult to completely lose their sanity over a children's educational programming (on PBS, no less!), especially when the song from said children's educational program runs over and over and over again in their heads?
Don't get me wrong, I love Elmo, he's cute, he's fuzzy, he's totally lovable.... and Sebastian is totally and completely in LOVE with him, which is great!
He loves him so much that he will usually slow down enough to watch a 2 minute Elmo's World segment (which gives me enough time to pee without having to prevent him from crawling behind the toilet or flushing it. It's the little things).
I'm hoping to be able to clean the kitchen floor without my "not-so-helper" pulling cans, plastic plates and cups and pots and pans out onto the floor that I'm trying to clean. Come on, Elmo! You can worm your way into my head, please occupy my little man for more than 3 minutes (I promise, I'll mop fast).
I have it on good authority *wink wink* that Santa is bringing, "Elmo's World - Families, Mail & Bath Time!" and "Elmo's World - Flowers, Bananas & More" DVD's to this good little boy. Just an FYI to all the peeps out there looking for the "perfect gift" for my little stinker.
